The Great Cornish Gift Guide 2017 + A Massive Giveaway!

Christmas is upon us! And with that starts my 12 days of Christmas series. I wanted to set myself a big challenge for this year, as I've never full taken advantage of the Christmas months within my business before - but this year is the year that changes. So for the next twelve days, you can expect a new blog post every.single.day.

Yay!

So to kick it all off, what better than a gift guide dedicated to amazing local Cornish creatives! I don't know about you, but I like to shop local as much as I possibly can during this time of the year, as there really are so many wonderful shops and businesses. Plus, it always feels a bit more special when you know exactly where the items you're purchasing came from. And what's better than supporting a small business? Nothing!

BONUS: If you read all the way to the bottom, you'll be able to enter into a massive giveaway for a chance to win items from a few of the brands mentioned here!

Tegen Jewellery:

Tegen Jewellery is a gorgeous jewellery brand, with more of bohemian vibe than anyone else! I've worked with Tegen quite a few times, and she's got jewellery to suit pretty much everyone! If the person you're shopping for is a big lover of all things blue, Tegen Jewellery is a great place to see if you can find that perfect gift.

Earthkind Originals Clothing:

Buying gifts for someone who's interested in sustainability, but also wants to feel comfy and look great all at once? Earthkind Originals clothing has got to be one of the most incredible brands in Cornwall at the moment. Created by Helen Davies, and based in St Just, the concept behind EKO is to create basic clothes that their owner can layer with the rest of their wardrobe. I can vouch for how gorgeous the fabric of these garments are!

Tideline Treasure:

You may or may not have already heard of Tideline Treasure, but Jo, who is the brains behind this beautiful business, is one of the loveliest people I've had the pleasure of working with! Jo collects seaglass from Cornwall (where she is from) and Inverness (where she lives) and creates absolutely stunning jewellery with it all. If you want to offer something unique, Tideline Treasure is certainly a great place to look!

Grace Baskerville:

Grace Baskerville is another stunning jewellery brand, who also uses seaglass as her main tool, however there's a more classic vibe to what Charlotte Reed, the designer and maker behind each piece, creates. Collected around the coast of Cornwall, each piece is totally unique, and totally stunning!

Bonbi Forest:

I have to admit, I'd never heard of Bonbi Forest until I came to do some research for this post, but my goodness am I happy I did! This online shop is full of bright and colourful accessories, home goods, stationary, and art. I really had to stop myself from buying myself something as I was exploring the site!

The Skye Gardens

Got a plant lover you need to purchase a gift for? Well, I've got you covered! The Skye Gardens are gorgeous air plant terrarium kits, handmade here in Cornwall! Just one look through this Etsy shop should find you exactly what you're looking for... another one I had to stop myself making an impulse purchase from.

Watershed:

Someone who's a bit more surfy our outdoorsy, perhaps? Watershed might just be the shop you need! Based in Newquay, these guys started out in 2012 as a lifestyle shop, selling the brands they loved. They quickly moved on though, by designing their own clothing. Now, just a few years on, they've got shops around the county!

Atlantic Blankets:

Home lovers, this is the place you need to head! Atlantic Blankets are a Cornwall based brand, selling all kinds of items you want to wrap yourself up in. From Alpaca wool, to Mohair, to Recycled Rugs, to picnic blankets, they've got you covered.

GIVEAWAY!

To thank you all for an incredible year, and for all the support I've received, I wanted to give something back. So I've teamed up with a few of the businesses listed above to pull together an awesome giveaway!
