My Go To Skincare

I'll admit it; I've not been into skincare for a very long time. Until about a year ago, all I did was wash my face at night. But you can't read blogs, or watch Youtube videos and not be inundated with skincare recommendations. I guess it finally clicked one day that I should probably start to take proper care of the skin on my face! So here are my 4 favourites.

Bioderma: Bioderma is pretty well known in the blogging/youtube world for it's Solution Micellaire. Everyone swears by it! And for good reason: it really is the best make up remover I've tried. It's a bit pricey, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or stripped of its natural oils. It gets rid of excess make up really well, and the bottle lasts ages!

La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Serum: This serum is a dream. When I need a little bit of extra moisture, I love to apply this. I don't like my skin to feel heavy, and this product feels like applying water onto your skin; it's a dream!

La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Legere: Another La Roche Posay product, but this really was a game changer for me. For years I wouldn't moisturise because I hated the thick, gooey feeling they left on my face. I knew this was such a vital part of day to day skincare, so I asked my mum for some advice. She'd been loving this moisturiser as well, so picked me up a bottle (thanks Mama!). Needless to say, I've used up 3 bottles since. It's light, airy, dries super quickly and doesn't leave that gross sticky feeling I dread so much. It's the only face moisturiser I like! The only problem? I can't get it in Boots in Cornwall, so I'm sure to stock up anytime I'm in Switzerland!

B Sand - The Swiss Power Peeling: Everyone loves a good exfoliation! But you've never experienced as good an exfoliation as this. It might sound crazy, but this stuff contains so much more grain in it, that it really does a brilliant job. I find that a lot of exfoliators are just a bit too... soft?! Maybe that sounds crazy to you, but I'm not kidding when I say my face feels as soft as a babies bum after using this product! I highly recommend getting your hands on it if you can.

Do you have any other skincare to recommend to me? What products do you swear by?
