Kath + Tim | Cornwall Anniversary Shoot

Just over a month ago, I got an email from Kath. She and her husband were nearing their one year wedding anniversary, and were heading to Cornwall to celebrate. She was wondering if I had any availability for an anniversary shoot with them.

It's emails like these that make my heart flutter, and finds me grinning from ear to ear at my computer!

I was thrilled to say yes (of course!) and we arranged for the 8th of May, rain or shine. Kath and Tim both wanted to meet at Bedruthan Steps, a place I'd never been to, but was looking for a reason to visit, so this felt perfect.

As the day drew closer and closer, I checked the weather forecast daily, crossing my fingers that the sun was still scheduled to shine (we all know how quickly the weather can change in Cornwall!). Clearly, the sun gods were looking down on us, because we were blessed withh one of the most spectacular sunsets I've ever seen in my life!

I'm always a little bit nervous before couple shoots. I'm an introvert, and I worry that I'll stumble over my words, or that people won't gel with me. However, the moment I began emailing with Kath, I knew we'd get on perfectly. Kath is a florist, and very quickly announced that she wanted to make herself a flower crown and a bouquet for her shoot! If you've been following my work for a while, you should know that this would have had my  jumping up and down in my seat! So sure enough, when I met these two on the beach at Mawgan Porth, and Kath turned up with one of the prettiest floral crowns and bouquets I've ever seen, I knew we'd come away with some beautiful images.

These two were adorable together, and it didn't take much work on my part to get them comfortable in front of the camera. They laughed and smiled, cuddled and kissed, and I snapped away, grinning from behind my camera, loving life.

Sometimes, I really do need to pinch myself and to be reminded that this really is my job.

Would you like to book a couple shoot? I'm filling up fast, but do have a few more dates available throughout June, July, August and September for anyone who will be down in Cornwall!

I'd Love To Book A Shoot!
