Lucy | A Photoshoot and An Interview

What an insanely busy week it has been! It's been one of those weeks where I've had to be in and out of the house every few hours, so sitting down to get some good, solid work done has been tough. I'm one of those people who likes to sit at her desk for hours at a time, and not move. If I've got to come and go, I find it incredibly hard.

That being said, it's been a really lovely week, and I've yet again met some really great people. I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Sam Charles of "Strawberry Squeeze" all about my career and blog! You can read the interview here. Sam runs a really amazing blog, so being asked to be featured by her was very flattering. She's more proof that you can be successful whilst living down in Cornwall.

I also shot this editorial a couple of days ago now, which was so much fun. Lucy Frost, the model for this shoot, was a girl I had photographed almost 5 years ago during uni, and hadn't seen her since! Needless to say, we still got on just as well, and I love the images. I also had a stylist on set for the first time in a long time, and it was amazing. Amelia Moss has a background in fashion design, so stepped in to style this editorial (because we all know by now that I really am not that skilled when it comes to styling!) and having that pressure off of my shoulders so that I could focus on the images was a dream. Of course, Ione always nails the hair and make up!

Shot in my home studio, these images really are proof that you don't need a whole lot to get something great. All you need is a good team, and everything comes together.
