Autumn Walking Between Rinsey and Praa Sands
As promised, I'm bringing you more lifestyle content on here. More of me, more of my life, and the adventures I go on! If you've followed me and my blog for a while, then you'll already know about my weekly walks with Anna. Since getting Milo though, those weekly walks have had to take a bit of a pause. However, last week since we were staying at Tom's parents house while our bathroom was being redone, I took the chance to get out of the house with Anna for one of our walks. Needless to say it made us both really happy, and it felt really nice to head out on a coastal walk with my camera in hand again!
We met at the Rinsey car park, just a short drive away from Porthleven (if you don't have a clue where I'm talking about!), and made our way in the direction of Praa Sands beach. This stretch of the south coast of Cornwall is truly stunning, and its an area I need to explore a little bit more. Luckily, Tom's mum and dad live very nearby, so I'm lucky enough to be able to make my way here fairly frequently. I just don't make the most of it enough!
Although Anna and I had seen each other just a week earlier, this was our first walk in a long time, so to me it felt like getting back to my normal routine for the first time. We did the usual, walked and talked, stopping every so often to snap photos.
I take lots of photos of Anna, but I'm in front of the camera a lot less. I just haven't felt the need to be, until recently.
I go on and on about how important it is to share photos of ourselves as business owners, and I stand by that statement, but I definitely don't do it enough. In fact, I hadn't had any new photos of me that I liked taken in quite a long time. So I've decided that I'm going to make more of an effort to show up!
You may also have noticed that I have darker hair! This is actually much closer to my natural hair colour, but I've been having highlights put into my hair since I was about 13 years old. Fed up of paying the huge hairdresser costs, and sitting in chairs for 5h at a time to get the highlights put in every two months, I've decided to go back to my roots (literally).
Needless to say I LOVE it, and I can't imagine I'll be making it blond again anytime soon. Obviously I have a lot of bleach in it, so until all of that grows out, I'm stuck with it gradually getting lighter over time... but I can deal with that!
I'm super excited for the rest of the month, with lots of shoots on, and prepping for the Winter months. I hope you have a lovely day too :)
