The Love List | March

Woohoo, I'm back with another love list for March! I really enjoyed writing my first "love list" in February, and it seemed that you all did too... so it's definitely something that I'm going to try to continue doing.

So what have I been loving throughout the month of March? Well, let's jump right in!

Favourite Podcast: Hashtag Authentic by Sara Tasker AKA @me_and_orla on Instagram. It should be no surprise to you that I love Instagram. I've been using the app since it launched in 2010, so when Sara Tasker announced her new podcast all about Instagram, how it worked, interview with influencers, etc, I was listening to episode one the day it released. It's still a brand new podcast, with only a handful of episodes out so far, but that's also what makes it so nice, is that you can get super involved from the get go! If you're a marketing geek, and an Instagram nerd like me, you'll love this one. Listen here!

Favourite Podcast #2: What?! Two podcasts! I know, but I can't not mention the other podcast that I've also been loving: Online Marketing Made Easy by Amy Porterfield. I don't know where I've been, but I didn't really know who Amy Porterfield was until recently. Well, I'm so glad that day is over because this podcast, and everything she does, is AMAZING. I've learnt so much about marketing in the past few weeks just from listening to her chat, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who runs a small business. You NEED to listen to this woman. Listen here!

Favourite Website: This probably doesn't sound like much of a revelation, because I've been loving Pinterest for years! However, recently I began to desperatly want to be inspired by something other than photography. It can be so easy for us to look at nothing but images day in and day out. On a whim one evening, I typed in "romantic paintings" into the search bar... and I think it may have changed my life. I've been pinning some of the most beautiful and inspiring paintings I've ever seen for a few days now, and I guarantee they'll be the basis of some of my future shoots. See the pinboard here!

Favourite Film:"The Light Between Oceans" I've seen quite a lot of good films this month, and it was hard to pick between "A United Kingdom" (which gets an honorable mention cause it was really, really good!) and "The Light Between Oceans." This film just might be one of the most beautiful pieces of cinematography I've seen in years, and the story is slightly heartbreaking, but in the most beautiful way. If you're looking for something to inspire you, tug at your heart strings a bit, and make you feel all the feelings... this one's for you.

Favourite TV Show: You'll think I'm crazy with this one, but I've become totally obsessed with The Supervet. I watch this show far too often for my sanity I'm sure. I end up crying most times, but also super happy when ever Noel Fitzpatrick, the supervet himself, managed to fix an animal who's life seems like it should be over! If you haven't given this a watch yet, I highly recommend.

Favourite Instagram Account: Yoga Girl! I've followed Rachel Brathen for years, but 10 months ago, she announced that she was pregnant, and she documented the entire thing on Instagram. No, I'm not pregnant, and no I don't intend to be anytime soon, however it was really amazing watching her process the entire thing, share so much about it, and then when her baby decided to be almost 3 weeks late to come out, she shared all of that too! It was lovely to see when Lea Luna was finally born, and now see the updates of what it's been like for Rachel to become a mum. Oh, and she's a pretty incredible yoga teacher too! If you're into yoga, for that reason alone, follow Rachel :)

So there it is, another month gone, and another bunch of things which have made me happy throughout it! What have you loved throughout March, and what are you most excited about for April? I know what gets me the most excited... flowers! :D
